How to begin

The rehabilitation process begins with a physician referral. Initial pulmonary exercise test will be
performed and then they will be compared to pulmonary exercise tests taken at the time of
discharge. An initial evaluation is done to assess individual strength, ROM and exercise tolerance.  
The evaluation determines the specific needs of each patient and then is used to establish goals and
to ensure safe and steady progress throughout the program.
